Bail Bonds DIRECT is a fully licenced and bonded professional business. One of the most trusted names in the industry. Our staff of Bail Bond Agents are professionals who know the La Verne jails.
Whether a person has been arrested for domestic violence, DUI, DWI or any other offense the process is the same. Persons taken into custody by the La Verne Police or Sheriff's Department will be held at either the La Verne Police Station Jail, Sheriff's Station Jail or will be transfered to the Los Angeles County Jail (IRC) and will be kept there until their first court date called the "Arraignment." Bail is allowed to be posted in any facility 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
Before a bail bond is turned in and accepted, the arrestee must pass a background check through "Live Scan", which is a machine that is linked to a county, state and national database. That database will notify the authorities of any possible holds, warrants, or aliases that might prevent release or increase the total bail amount of an arrestee. Once the results of the Live Scan come back from the various government agencies, that person is then "cleared" to bond out. At this time, a jailor will review and accept a Bail Bond for an arrestee and release them on the Bail Bond.
From the time a Bail Bond is turned in, it takes between 30 minutes and 3 hours for a release depending on the facility where the person is being held. Release times do vary based on the workload of the La Verne jail's staff as well as the type of facility. Once out, a person will need to complete his or her part of the paper work, take a picture, and make sure to show up to each and every court date thereafter.
In addition to being bail bonds agents we are proud members of the La Verne community.
The city of La Verne, locate din Los Angeles County, is home to an estimated 31,638 residents and its origins can be traced back to the 1830s when it was part of the Rancho San Jose land grant. The land grant also included what is today the cities of Pomona, San Dimas, Claremont and Glendora. After the land boom of the late 19th century, members of the German Baptists Brethren Church formed Lordsburg College in 1891, the cities first institute of higher education. The city was incorporated in 1906 under its original name of Lordsburg, but citizens opted to change the name of the city in 1917 after I.W. Lord, the founder of the town died. The residents of the town grew crop fields and later began planting citrus trees which flourished in the area. Until the end of World War II, La Verne flourished as a citrus industry until many of the tress grew old and were eventually bulldozed to make room for modern tract homes. The city is still home to some notable residents including Sugar Shane Mosley the professional boxer who has won world titles in three weight divisions, and he is also the current WBA Welterweight Super Champion. Jessica Alba was born in La Verne and was a member of the 1997 graduating class from Bonita High School. The city is located in the 2nd district of the county and is represented by supervisor Michael D. Antonovich. The city is located in the 29th Senate District and is represented by Republican Bob Huff. The majority of the city is made up of white residents who comprise 77% of the cities population. The city is also made up of African American, Native American, Pacific Islander, Asian, Hispanic and a small amount of other races.
